Many of The plants sold at CRISP come from seeds or cuttings harvested in the 9th Ward of New Orleans.
For years I have played in the dirt to find the plants that best work in the heat of New Orleans. While I have found many annuals to serve this purpose, my dedication has led me to plants of which I could not have even dreamed. I concentrate on subtropical fruits, perennial vegetables, and nitrogen-fixing plants. Most of the plants I sell started right here on this land I love. CRISP stands for community research into subtropical permaculture and your support makes you part of this community. Thank you for taking the time to check us out.
